Town-Twinning to be represented at the Cowbridge Food Festival
This year the Vale of Glamorgan Twinning Association will host their own marquee at the Cowbridge Food Festival. Each of the towns twinned with the Vale will have a stall offering local produce and specialties for sale. We may expect to enjoy cheeses, wine, pate and other delicacies from Fecamp in Normandy, Belgian chocolates, Belgian beers and freshly cooked waffles from Mouscron , while from Rheinfelden in Germany, we can sample Black forest ham and sausages and have a sip of schnapps. The Vale of Glamorgan Twinning Association will again be offering freshly-cooked welsh cakes, with tea or coffee to refresh visitors to the festival, while musical entertainment will be provided by young people from Mouscron. The first venture by the twinning association last year was a great success, providing many opportunities for social, cultural sporting and educational groups to contact similar interest groups in our twin towns.
