The main site for the Cowbridge Food and Drink Festival is the Arthur John Car Park on North Road in Cowbridge. This is parallel to the High Street and will be signed from this street. Activities – such as demos – and associated events including the Craft Fayre, Real Ale Festival take place in various locations around Cowbridge and will again be signposted within the town.
Road transport is responsible for 12 percent of Wales' total greenhouse gas emissions. We are asking visitors to consider bringing a friend and car sharing to help reduce climate change, improve air quality and also road safety. A park and ride scheme will be available for your use.
Park and Ride – from Bridgend on A48 take first Cowbridge exit and follow signs to Park and Ride at Penllyn Estate. Regular buses to centre of town. FREE OF CHARGE PARKING AND BUS
Park and Walk – from Cardiff direction on A48, go down hill towards town. At bottom of hill turn right at the traffic lights. Follow signs for Park and Walk at the School. FREE OF CHARGE, short walk into centre of town.
For public transport information visit: TRAVELINE
Traveline Cymru, the public transport information service in Wales, funded by the Welsh Government. Providing route, timetable and fare information for all bus, coach and rail operators throughout Wales via our website www.travelinecymru.info and our telephone call centre 0871 200 22 33. The online Journey Planner will tell visitors how they are able to travel to and from the festival using buses, coaches and trains and will give them step by step instructions on how they can make their journey.
Additional disabled parking provision in Town Hall Car Park strictly for blue badge holders only. This is marshaled over the festival weekend by Cowbridge Cricket Club and is on a first come first served basis. These spaces are still very sought after and therefore we encourage anyone able to use the free bus with the park and ride, to do so. Thank you.
